From requirements to a built pack.
Two software modules (planning and pack design) and a build service. Each step's output is the next step's input.
Size the pack from product requirements
Enter the application type and mission requirements. The planner calculates energy and capacity, selects the cell and series-parallel configuration, and checks each requirement against the result.
01 · Input
- Application
- Drone
- Flight time
- 30 min
- Power
- 800 W
- System voltage
- 22.2 V
- Efficiency

02 · Calculated
- Energy E = P · t / eff 455 Wh
- Capacity Q = E / V 20.5 Ah
- Series count S = V / 3.7 V 6
- Parallel count P from cell capacity 4

INWhat goes in
- Application · Drone / Robotics / EV / Custom
- Flight minutes or range in miles
- Continuous + peak power
- System voltage, efficiency
- Envelope L × W × H, weight limit
- Operating temperature
OUTWhat comes out
- Series × parallel config, e.g. 6S4P
- Pack voltage, energy, mass, currents
- Verdict · PASS / NEAR PASS / FAIL
- Per-requirement gap analysis
- Up to 3 alternative cells on failure
- 2D/3D layout · PDF report · STEP
- 01.1
Capacity and energy are calculated from the requirements. They cannot be entered manually.
- 01.2
Each requirement is reported separately, with its own result and margin.
- 01.3
Library of ~35 real cells from Molicel, Samsung SDI, LG, Panasonic, CATL, EVE and others.
- 01.4
Worked example: Drone, 30 min, 800 W, 22.2 V, 88 % efficiency → ≈455 Wh, ≈20.5 Ah.
Generate the current collectors and cell holders
Enter the cell, the series-parallel configuration and the B− and B+ terminal positions. The module assigns cells to parallel groups and generates current collectors, cell holders and voltage-sense wiring. Design rules are checked before any file is exported.
Export · enabled
- DXF / SVG Laser-cut collectors
- STEP Cell holder trays
- BOM Bill of materials
- TRAVELER Job traveler
INWhat goes in
- Cell + S×P configuration
- Terminal placement · B− / B+
- Lattice · rectangular or honeycomb
OUTWhat comes out
- Laser-cut Ni/Cu collectors · DXF / SVG
- 3D-printable holder trays · STEP
- Voltage-sense flex interconnect
- BOM + job traveler
- 02.1
Supports rectangular and honeycomb cell layouts.
- 02.2
Each collector is shaped to its cell group and includes weld spots, anti-shunt slots and a sense tab.
- 02.3
If a design fails a rule, export is blocked and the failed rule is reported.
- 02.4
Reference bench design: 12S2P honeycomb, 21700 cells.
Source, assemble and ship
After a design passes all checks, we source the cells and components, assemble the pack following the job traveler and ship it to you.

What we don't claim.
- No certification. Amplan does not certify packs and makes no claim of UL, IEC, UN 38.3 or any other compliance.
- Design-assistance drafts. Software output is a draft for engineers to review. Every pack requires physical validation before production.
- Verdicts are against your inputs. PASS / NEAR PASS / FAIL describes the design against the requirements you entered. It does not predict field performance.
